Privacy Policy
Talent Staffing and Recruiting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard the data you provide to us when using our website (“the Website”) and the related services offered by Talent Staffing and Recruiting.
1. Information Collection and Use
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect and how we obtain it on the Site includes:
Personal Data
We collect personal information from three sources:
• Information you give us directly. When you register with the Site, submit a job application, or communicate with us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, resume, cover letter, employment history, education, skills, and the content of your communications with us, including emails, phone calls, and SMS messages.
• Information collected automatically. When you access the Site, our servers may automatically collect your IP address and browser type.
• Information we obtain from third parties and public sources. As a recruiting firm, we identify potential candidates for our clients’ open positions using third-party professional-contact databases, professional networking and directory services, publicly available professional registries and licensing boards, job boards and resume databases we subscribe to, and referrals. Information obtained this way is typically your name, job title, employer, professional location, work history, credentials or licenses, and business or personal contact details including telephone number and email address. This means we may hold your information, and may contact you about a specific open position, even if you have never registered with us or applied to one of our postings.
Application Data
•Information related to your job application, including your resume, cover letter, employment history, education, skills, and other qualifications that you provide when applying for a job through our Site.
Derivative Data
•Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site.
Communication Data
•Records of your communications with us, including emails, phone calls, and SMS messages, when you contact us for support or inquiries about job opportunities.
2. Use of Your Information
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Site to:
•Create and manage your account.
•Process your job applications and send you related information.
•Match your qualifications with job opportunities and present your application to potential employers.
•Respond to your comments, questions, and requests, and provide customer service.
•Send you updates and alerts about job opportunities and relevant services.
•Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities to improve our services and website.
•Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.
Text Messaging
We may send SMS text messages about specific open positions to individuals who have given us consent to do so — for example by telling us during a call that we may text them, by replying to us, or by providing a mobile number on an application.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Opting out is permanent and applies to every phone number and channel we use, not only the number that received your message.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell mobile numbers. Mobile information may be shared with service providers that help us deliver messages, and only for that purpose.
3. Disclosure of Your Information
We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:
By Law or to Protect Rights
•If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal processes, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
Potential Employers
•We may share your application data with potential employers to facilitate the job matching process and help you find suitable employment opportunities.
Affiliates
No Sale or Marketing Use of Personal Data
Talent Staffing and Recruiting does not sell, rent, or share personal information—including phone numbers—with third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or lead-generation purposes. Any sharing of personal data with our affiliates or trusted service providers is solely for internal operational purposes necessary to provide and improve our services, such as processing job applications, matching candidates with potential employers, or maintaining our website. These parties are contractually required to protect your information and to use it only for the specific services they provide to us.
No Mobile Information Sharing for Marketing:
•No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. Security of Your Information
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
Rights and Requests
Your choices and how to make a request
• You may ask us to: confirm whether we hold personal information about you and receive a copy of it; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; delete your information; or stop contacting you.
